Observed one of three CO2 tanks without a chain, all high pressurized tanks shall be secured to prevent possible accidents.

Observed leak at floor-sink at soda machine. Repair leak to prevent possible rot/deterioration.

Observed counter top to be pealing at slushie machine. Repair counter top to allow it to be smooth and easily cleanable. Note, tape is not considered to be a smooth and cleanable repair.

At the start of inspection, hot water at the three compartment sink was observed to be 109*F. Water heater was turned up to provide 120°F water. Maintain 120*F for the three compartment sink. CORRECTED ON SITE.

12/15/2023: Revisit/Reinspection

Routine inspection showed that labeled Sink and Surface sanitizer was testing at 0 ppm with the test strips provided and test strips that inspector had on hand. At re-inspection it was shown that sanitizer dispenser was miss labeled and incorrect test strips provided to the facility. Sanitizer provided to the facility is no longer Sink and Surface but Quaternary Ammonia. The sanitizer was observed to be at 200 ppm quant. The violation has been resolved and Green Placard remains issued.

Observed hot water at the three compartment stink to be at 111*F. Water heater was turned up, observed to reach 110*F 15 minutes later. The water heater was turned up again, observed temperature to stay above 120*F at 132*F. Maintain a temperature at 120*F. CORRECTED ON SITE.

Observed Sink and Surface Cleaner sanitizer in three compartment sink to be at 0 ppm. Sanitizer was shown to be coming through the tubing and into the sink. Manager asked to test cleaning solution, test strips from the facility and from the inspector both showed 0 ppm. A new bottle of Sink and Surface Cleaner was opened and tested, test strips still showed 0 ppm. After checking that the test strips function properly at a neighboring facility (shown over 700 ppm), the owner was contacted and verified that they will be reaching out to supplier and Ecolab for new cleaning solution. Re-inspection will occur on Friday, 12/15/23, to verify that sanitizer is functioning properly. Mitigate by making sanitizer by hand until unit is serviced.

Observed mold accumulation inside ice machine. Ice machine must be routinely cleaned and sanitized to prevent the growth of bacteria and microorganisms. Drain ice, clean and sanitize inside ice machine.
