This is a combination of a routine and complaint inspection. Complaint stated food born illness. The following was observed:

All other hand sinks had soap, paper towels and water temp>100*F
Three comp sink water temp>120*F
Cold holding <41*F
Hot holding>135*
Sanitizer at 100ppm chlorine

At time of inspection no other complaint came in. Unable to validate complaint.

Observed dish washer below 50ppm chlorine, please make sure dish washer is primed and tested before using to make sure it's at 50ppm chlorine. Corrected on site.


Observed several personal items such as keys and prescription pill bottles being stored on counters next to food items. Please make sure personal items are stored in a separate area away from food storage and prep surfaces. Corrected on site.

Observed open bags of rice and flour in back storage area, please close and seal bags when not in use.


Observed back door open, screen door was not closed all the way. Please make sure screen door is properly closed and there are no gaps for pests to enter.


Observed expired food safety manager certificate, please have employee take course and post certificate on site.

Observed employee without food handler card, please make sure all employees have food handler cards within 30 days of hire.


Observed wet wiping cloths on prep cooler cutting board, please keep all cloths in sanitizer buckets when not in use.


Facility has not paid there 2021-22 permit year fee. Please pay fee as soon as possible or risk being closed for operating without a permit.


Observed metal containers of cooked chicken and shrimp in ice bath, ice bath doesn't reach top level of food. Please make sure container is deep enough in ice bath to go up the sides of the container at the same level as the food. Corrected on site. Food was recently taken out of cooler and was below 41*F. Containers are placed on cooler across from cook line, make sure items are covered when not in use to make sure temperature is below 41*F at all times.


Observed no paper towels in dispenser at portable hand sink in back area, please make sure paper towels are provided at all times. Corrected on site.


Observed food debris build-up along door handles of glass door cooler, please clean regularly.

Observed red tape along edge of glass door cooler, please discontinue use of tape and have unit repaired.

Inspection Memo:


Overall facility has improved it's organization in the front area, previous clutter has been removed and a new layout near sitting and bathroom area is used to store tog o boxes and condiments. However, please improve your cleaning practices in the back area and train employees on proper food storage and make sure they are testing the dish washer daily.

01/14/2021: Routine Inspection

Observed a 5 gallon bucket of beef at 51*F and a smaller container of chicken at 45*F sitting on the counter. Employee stated he took them out of the cooler within 30 minutes and was going to cook them. Only one employee in kitchen at time of inspection, please don't take out all the meat at once, take only what will be cooked in order to keep food items below 41*F or above 135*F.


Observed expired Food Safety Manager Certificate, please have an employee take the course and post certificate.


Observed debris on floor in back storage areas beside chest freezer and under coolers in hard to reach areas. Make sure all food items are cleaned up daily to avoid any pest issues. A pest control service was on site servicing facility at time of inspection. Create a daily cleaning schedule to make sure facility is cleaned at the end of the day.


Observed uncovered tub of cooked carrots and onions being stored next to an overfilled tub of cooked chicken and observed a covered tub of raw beef being stored over a bag of mushrooms in reach in cooler. Please raw meat on bottom racks, cooked meat on middle racks and cooked or ready to eat produce on top racks.

Observed nesting of chili sauce metal tub being stored over tub of cooked shrimp in top cold holding cooler, please discontinue practice. Corrected on site.


Facility has portable hand sink, observed a plastic bag, basket and scissors in hand sinks. Please don't block hand sink with items, make sure it is always working properly and employees are using it to wash hands. Observed waste water tank had very little amount of water, make sure employees are using sink to wash hands. Items were removed.


Observed grease and debris build-up on hood filters and ansel system, please contact contractor to clean and service hood.


Observed dish washer below 50ppm chlorine, dish washer isn't reaching proper chlorine concentration. Please discontinue use and wash, rinse sanitize dishes in three comp sink until dish washer is repaired.

Facility is much improved from previous inspections, food is properly organized and labeled. Equipment is free of dust and debris, front counter near register has been organized and free of dust, hood was recently cleaned, and floors are free of build-up and grime.

02/27/2020: Routine Inspection

Dish washer was not properly sanitizing dishes, needed to be primed and reached 50ppm chlorine. There are no test strips available, please acquire test strips.


Observed tape holding glass door to upright cooler, please have door repaired and remove tape. This could fall and glass can break and get on food items and injure someone.

Observed wooden spoon with paint on handle, spoon was discarded.

Observed vegetable slicer that was stored with the clean dishes to still have food debris build-up, please properly clean all utensils and if no longer easily cleanable they need to be replaced.


Observed portable hand wash station to stop working while washing hands, issue corrected on site and hand sink worked properly with hot water.


Observed open container holding tofu and container holding lettuce stored in the back area underneath a ladder, cover containers to avoid any dust or debris from falling on food items.
