Covid-19 Inspection
Observed facility engaging in indoor dining. Observed approximately 12 patrons dining at tables inside of facility. Provided education to manager as follows: Under Placer County’s current placement on the California Blueprint for a Safer Economy, dine-in restaurant service remains not permitted. The State’s regional stay at home order was recently lifted, however, Placer County remains in the purple tier. As such, restaurants are permitted to offer approved outdoor dining, takeout, and delivery only. Observed all employees wearing face coverings.
Covid-19 signage posted at the front entrance.
Hand sanitizer provided for employee and customers use.
6ft markings placed on floor at the waiting area.
Patrons eating inside are spaced with empty tables to allow social distance.
Condiments are served in disposable cups for single service only.
Tables are being sanitized after each use. Menus are electronic while specials menu is single use paper.
Restroom cleaning logs posted at the restroom door with a sign allowing only 1 person at a time.
Written workplace specific plan and checklist completed and available on site. Observed temperature and training logs.
03/01/2021: Routine Inspection

Observed accumulation of food debris on all equipment, refrigerators, tables, and shelving at cook's line. Deep clean needed.

1) Observed a very heavy accumulation of food debris on the floors below equipment at cook's line. Deep clean needed.

2) Observed several missing floor tiles and lack of grout in floors at warewashing area. Water is pooling in the missing floor tiles area. Observed broken and missing tiles within the tiled mop sink. Observed broken tiles and missing grout in flooring at cook's line. Maintain the flooring throughout the facility and the tile mop sink durable and easily cleanable. Replace all missing tiles and grout.

Observed the one door cold top at entrance to cook's line holding at 45*F on the internal ambient thermometer. Observed condiment in single use container within unit at 48*F. Operator adjusted the unit to a lower temperature setting, correcting the issue.

Clean plates are stored on shelving below cooking equipment which is soiled with food debris. In addition, observed food debris and drippage on the clean plates. Clean and sanitize the shelving used for clean plates. Clean and sanitize plates which have food debris on them. Ensure clean plates are maintained so as to be protected from sources of contamination.

The left compartment of the 3 compartment sink is missing the drain line and spills directly onto the floor. Operator must immediately install a drain line to provide a fully functional 3 compartment sink. Facility has a functional dish machine (chlorine sanitizer), so the 3 compartment sink is currently a back up option.

Operator to provide photo evidence by email of the correction. Per operator, the sink can be fixed within 48 hours. Send photo to aevans@placer.ca.gov

One of the seating at the front waiting area was marked closed to provide social distancing.
Condiments are served in disposable cups for single service only.
Tables are being sanitized after each use. Please ensure menus are disposable or sanitized after each use.
All decor were removed from the tables. No presetting tables.
All of the dining tables were spread out 6ft apart. Some booth was closed to provide social distancing.
Restroom cleaning logs posted at the restroom door with a sign allowing only 1 person at a time.
Employee assigned to certain work area to allow social distancing.

06/05/2020: Routine Inspection

A) Observed stainless steel scrapper wedge between the flat griddle and warmer. Maintain utensils in clean surfaces.

B) Observed heavy grime build up on the sides of the flat griddle and other cooking equipment. Maintain equipments clean.

Observed a container full of small prepakaged creamers inside an ice bath that was manufacture labeled "keep refrigrated" measured at 46F- 48F. Maintain potentially hazardous food cold holding at <41F. Make sure food are submerge in ice to ensure proper cold holding.
Employee added ice to the ice bath.

Observe multiple missing floor tiles in the warewashing area. Repair floors.
