Facility is a market with limited food preparation. Food preparation is related to demoing products that are sold in store. Per employee, the store is not currently doing any demos and is not providing food samples to the public. Demos and sampling may resume in December. The above violations must be corrected prior to resuming food preparation and demo/sampling.
07/01/2021: Routine Inspection

Observed a maximum hot water temperature of only 117*F at the 3 compartment sink. Adjust to provide a minimum 120*F hot water.

Observed approximately 5-6 rodent droppings on shelving to the right of the 3 compartment sink as well as on the floor below the 3 compartment sink. Per employee, facility is receiving pest control from Orkin and is actively addressing the issue.

Facility has only scented sanitizer solution at the 3 compartment sink and no sanitizer test strips. Provide approved unscented sanitizer solution and test strips to check concentration. Approved sanitizers are 100ppm chlorine or 200ppm quaternary ammonia.

Provide a wall mounted soap dispenser to the hand wash sink in the 3 compartment sink room. None is currently present.

• Facility has no onsite dining and is not providing any samples at this time.
• Observed hand sanitizer provided at entrance to facility.
• Employees have been trained on the contents of Plan. Training is documented.

• No customers are allowed in store with food or beverages to prevent mask removal while in store.

Reminders for when food sampling resumes:
Hand washing sink must be stocked with paper towels and soap at all times.

11/06/2019: Routine Inspection

Observed clustered of mop and equipment in the mop area. Clean and organized the mop sink and make sure its accessible.

A) A copy of the last routine inspection report was not available for review.
B) Observed the health permit posted in the office. Must post the health permit in a conspicuous location.

A) Observed dust build up on the wall and ceiling in the warewashing area. Keep walls and ceilings clean. REPEAT VIOLATION.

B) Observed build up on the floors under equipment and sinks in the warewashing area and under cooking oven. Keep floors clean.

Observed no sanitizer test strips on site. Provide.
Manager was unable to fine the sanitizer tablets on site, but there was some liquid chlorine that can be use as sanitizer. If using chlorine, please add 1 cap full per gallon of water and use a chlorine test strip to measured 100ppm.

Observed the 3 comp sink faucet leaking when turned on. Repair leak immediately.

Observed no manager food safety certificate on site. The person whose manager food safety certificate is on file no longer works at this facility. Provide a manager food safety immediately.

Observed grease and dust build up on the exhaust hood filters. Keep the filters clean.

A) Observed employee food commingle with facility food in the back refrigerator. Must store employee food in designated area or containers away from facility food.

B) Observed samples in the front counter with no covers. Provide covers to protect samples from possible contamination.
