Observed back area hand washing sink to not have soap or sanitizer available. All hand sinks shall be fully supplied. CORRECTED ON SITE.

Observed ice bags to not have a packing address. Shown that ice was shipped in from arctic glacier in Sacramento, please have bags labeled with the packing address.

1. Observed two cold units behind front counter to have broken thermometers. Have units serviced or place working thermometers within the units.

2. Observed refrigeration unit behind the front counter to have torn gasket. Fridge was in control at 41*F, unable to seal properly. Replace/repair gasket.

3. Observed refrigeration unit behind the front counter to be at 45*F. Unit is being used to hold hot dog bread buns. Do not store any potentially hazardous foods (meat, cheese, dairy, or cut tomatoes) within unit. Have unit repair to be under 41*F.

Observed chipped floor tiles by self service coffee area. Repair flooring at next renovation.

Re-inspection conducted to verify correction of violation for ant activity observed during routine inspection on 08/21/2023.

Pest control conducted service on 08/22/2023, copy of pest control report was reviewed during inspection.
No ant activity observed during inspection in the back room.
Provide copy of next pest control service report to Environmental Health office.

This is a combination of a complaint response and routine inspection, the following was observed:

Complainant stated ants were observed near the drink machines. Inspection resulted in the observance of dead ants behind the slurpee machine and under the counter. Facility has pest control company servicing the facility, pest control report on site.

Facility has issue with cleaning in hard to reach areas and keeping storage areas organized and free of debris. Please do a deep cleaning in hard to reach areas and throw away any cardboard boxes in back storage area. The drink and slurpee area were closed and counter, machines, cabinets, and floors were cleaned and wiped down.

Complaint is valid.

Hot holding>135*F (food on display is discarded after two hours)

Observed employee drink cup in back counter without lid and straw, please keep all employee food items in separate area from facility and make sure cups have a lid and straw.


Observed empty plastic packaging and cardboard boxes piled up in back storage area, please keep all areas clean and free of clutter and debris. Throw away trash regularly and don't let it accumulate.


Observed dried liquid near slurpee machine and near coffee machine. Please clean all spills right away to avoid attracting pests.


Facility has an issue with ants near the slurpee machine. Observed dead ants behind the slurpee machine and under the counter. Facility has a pest control service come out once a week and last service was on 6/9. Please monitor area and make sure all spills are cleaned up right away. Owner closed slurpee area and pulled back counters to clean in hard to reach areas.


Observed food debris and clutter behind soda machine and in hard to reach areas under three comp sink in back area. Please clean regularly.


Observed can of home use pest spray in back storage area. Please discontinue use of spray and have pest control company service facility.
